February Membership Meeting

It’s Time to Create Your Sustainability Plan

Wednesday February 25, 2015 9:00 am-11:00 am

Millington Lockwood and DIRTT

3901 Genesee Street

Cheektowaga, NY 14225

Dear SBR Members and Prospective Members

On Earth Day April 2015 the WNYSBR will be highlighting the Sustainability Plans that 38 members have pledged to complete. To this end, we are asking our members to submit your Sustainability Plan prior to our Earth Day Celebration. Any business who is thinking of become a member is welcome to join us at this meeting.

We know that member’s plans are in various stages of development, ranging from complete to needing some help. That is why it is so important to attend this roundtable meeting. We will be gathering in small breakouts to provide businesses with peer feedback and assistance on each other’s work-in-progress. So come with what you have and with any questions, and we’ll work together to get your plan underway.

We are excited to hold this roundtable at Millington Lockwood and DIRTT, 3901 Genesee Street across from the Airport. They provide businesses with a wide array of sustainable office furnishings and interior wall designs.

We will be giving a tour of their facility following the meeting at 11:00am.

The Steering Committee is here to help, as well as our staff: Bonnie Lawrence and Andy Goldstein.

Attached is a suggested template for your plan, as well as a list of possible projects that may get your organization jump started.
