About Riverview Solar Technology Park:
Riverview Solar Technology Park is a 200-acre business park powered by the sun. Each building has some kind of solar array associated with it (roof mounts, ground mounts, or even a solar canopy) and hosts some of the country’s largest industry leaders like Amazon & FedEx.
State of the Art Solar Array:
The solar array we will be touring holds +15,000 solar panels over 22-acres and has smart racking that tracks the sun throughout the day increasing solar production by ~12%. The site is a re-use of an old Ashland Oil tank farm. Montante Solar needed to clean up the old tank infrastructure and complete a substantial amount of civil work to prep the site as needed for the solar installation. The solar array produces over 8.2 Million kWh of renewable energy per year.
